Being Sick ... Just Isn't Fun Now that I'm a Mom!

Remember the good ol' days?

You were sick and could relax in bed while Mom brought coloring books and a fresh box of 64 crayons to use and maybe even a tall glass of Orange Juice to sip?

Ahh, those were the days.

I had eye surgery recently and being sick just isn't that much fun anymore. The Mom jobs don't seem to stop. Thankfully, I had my mom to help since I was restricted from bending over, lifting, and focusing on anything (no crafting, reading, or basically anything fun). Honestly I don't think I could have done it without my mom's help. Ever tried to do laundry without bending? It's like an aerobic exercise from H-E-double toothpick. Just getting the clothes to the machine had my thighs burning like they were on fire from all the squats!

Now that Mom's gone back home and I'm allowed to focus, I find that I'm exhausted just doing my normal routine!

So here's my first card now that I'm back.

It's a birthday card for my buddy Tina. I used Party Donkey from High Hopes Stamps. Frankly I think this looks more like a horse than a donkey but if they want to call it a donkey, who am I to stop them? As always, High Hopes stamps can be found in Kelly's store.

I hope your day is fantastic, Tina!
