Stella Says Sketch 419

I don't know about you but getting up this morning was ugly.  I bribed my body into going to exercise class by promising it a LARGE latte (I've been cutting back to a grande since I learned that my favorite drink is 290 calories - yikes!)  I made to kickboxing but only just barely.

I'm joining in the challenge over on the Catch The Bug website.  Cute sketch and cute Santa.

SS: The Paper Shelter

Happy Saturday after Black Friday!!

I hope you slept in and are planning to do nothing (other than participate in Sketch Saturday's challenge of course!!)  After the week we've had ... we are going to need another holiday, yes?!!

I do not participate in the Black Friday frenzy.  There is nothing that I want enough to get me out of bed early, and venture to a store with 1,000 of my dearest friends.  Yeah ... no.  I'm the sleep in, and provide breakfast to those in my family who get up at 3:00 in the morning type!!

Any who.  Because it IS Saturday, there is another sketch challenge over on the Sketch Saturday blog.  Our sponsor is The Paper Shelter.  I'm using their image: The Most Adorable Snowmen.

Come join in the fun.

DP: Fab n' Funky Challenges

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the fun over on the Fab N' Funky Challenges.  Their challenge is to make a card with wings.  Since I still need Christmas cards, I chose to use this darling Doodle Pantry image: 12 Days of Christmas (admit it ... you are humming the song now in your head!)

I'm also using the sketch from The Paper Play Sketches.  It's a cute one.

Come join in the fun!

SSW2-103 Sami Stamps

It's the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  And if you are like me, you are running around like a chicken trying to make everything perfect!  It's kind of an obsession!

We have another challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.  We're sponsored by Samantha Siemers Ratliff from Sami Stamps.

I'm using her sweet image: Winter Cocoa.  I liked this image because this is pretty much what I want to do when skiing ... watch people and drink lattes!!

Come join in the fun this week!

TMS 378: Brrr ... Where Did the Warmth Go?

Wow, it is suddenly cold today!

One minute we were wearing shorts and today ... not so much!!  I am still working on the Christmas cards (less than 10 to go) Woo-who!!

Using the sketch over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.  It was cute and rather simple.  Perfect for me to alleviate the Christmas panic that has overtaken my being!

SS: Are You Yeti?

Are you yeti for Christmas?  Oh heck no!!

But this card is certainly cute.  It's Saturday so that means it's time for another sketch challenge over on the Sketch Saturday page.  The sketch is a cute one.  I made it into a square instead of a rectangle but it's cute either way.

Our sponsor is Simon Says Stamp and the prize is a good one ... $25 to spend in the store.  My image comes from the Simon Says Stamp store.  It's a Birdie Brown image called Beast Friends.

You are going to want to play this week!!

Crafty Hazel: Spreading Joy

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the fun over on the Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge.  Their challenge is to make a Christmas card with an additional invitation to use the color coral.  My coral is super small: only my snowman's hat and scarf (but it IS there!)

I'm using the sketch from the Try Stampin On Tuesday site.  It was super cute.

Come join in the fun!

TMS377: Gerda Steiner

Here is the November freebie over on the Gerda Steiner blog.  If you haven't joined in the fun yet, just purchase this guy: Naughty Puppy and make something with him.  Next month you will that month's image for free.  Free stuff is pretty cool!

I'm also joining in the sketch challenge over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.

SSW2-102 Pimp My Sled

Well hello there.

It's Wednesday and time for another sketch challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 site.

This week we have the fabulous Jodie Mackrell from Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor.  I'm using Gus: Pimp My Sled on my card.  He just makes me giggle.

Come join in the fun.

DP: 613 Avenue Create

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over on the 613 Avenue Create blog.  Their theme is anything goes.

I'm using a sentiment from the Doodle Pantry set, Renewed Faith.  It's not your typical Christmas card but I thought it worked because Christmas is all about God's love.  My aunt will love it, regardless.  I hope you come join the fun.

Wasting Time

I should be cleaning the floors or doing laundry but blah ... who wants to do that?!!  So I decided to join in the coffee fun over on Dragonfly Journeys.

For my first card, I used the sketch from the Catch The Bug site.  I love this image (tho the crystal effects distorted the coloring on the coffee pot.  It looks way better in real life).

My second card uses another Bugaboo image but the sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches site.  This site is dedicated to "clean" cards.  My card is not so clean.  I have too many layers on this card to count as "clean."  Oh well, it's a cute card anyway.

And now ... I suppose I should hit the laundry!

November AIMP

I'm late posting.  Oops.

I knew that the day after Halloween was going to be a bit rough and guess what ... it was!  I don't know if it's the down after the sugar rush or what but it was ugly getting everyone out the door this morning!

It's November first (wow, I actually heard a Christmas song on the radio!  Despite spending the last few weeks making Christmas cards, I am still not ready for THAT yet).  And because it IS the first of the month, it's time for Doodle Pantry's Ants In My Pantry Digital Challenge.  Make something with a digital image and post it on the blog and YOU could win.  It's that easy.

This month I'm using Winter Critters to make yet another Christmas card (22 to go)  It might be time to mass produce!

I'm using the sketch over on the Paper Players site.  I DID flip it (mostly because I cut my sentiment backwards!)  It still works!
